As a child, I was allergic to cats. However, that did not stop me from taking in almost ever stray cat that came to our front door. One of my fondest memories was of my feline friend, Blue. One summer’s day, I was barbecuing in my backyard when all of a sudden I heard a cat meowing behind me. At the time, we didn’t have any pets. Therefore, the sound caught me off guard, and I turned around to see a beautiful whitish gray Cat with a black nose staring at me. As he approached me he began purring and my heart melted. Blue brought Joy to my family for many years.
Through the years, my family and I took in other stray cats because I believe in second chances and That’s why I fully support Fresh Step’s lastest collaboration.

I am thankful we had an opportunity to adopt a cat that was an adult. So would encourage people to not just add kittens but also the older ones because you can really get a sense of their personality when they are older.” ~ Zack King
