Kids Valentine’s Day Craft – Pencil Arrows

Here is a quick and easy Valentine’s Day Craft to do with the kids!


 Are you looking for a cute treat that doesn't include candy this Valentines Day? Why not make everyone in your child's class a Pencil Arrows to give with their cards.
It’s that time of the year again that our kids give each other cards and treats. However, instead of giving away candy and sweet treats. Why not make everyone in your child’s class a Pencil Arrows with their cards.(Click here for 48 free Disney inspired printable Valentine’s Day cards)These cute Valentine’s Day Pencil Arrows are cute to make as a classroom craft or party activity too.

 

 Materials need for our Valentine’s Day Craft – Pencil Arrows

  • Red glittered fabric paper
  • Valentine’s scrapbook paper
  • Arrow and heart template
  • Valentine’s pencils
  • Hot glue/hot glue gun
  • Scissors

Directions for to make a set of Pencil Arrows

1.Print out your arrow template here

 

2.Cut out the three pieces on your template

3. Trace your small heart and arrow top twice onto your scrapbook paper and cut out the four piecespencil arrow craft

4. Now trace your big heart onto a piece of scrapbook paper and cut out

5. Cut a slit vertically on each side of your large scrapbook paper heart

6. Glue the backside of the arrow top to the other back side of your arrow top, leaving the center open to slide your pencil in

7. Now weave your pencil into the scrapbook heart slits, starting from the back

8. Now your can glue your two small hearts together, leaving  space in the center to slide the tip of your pencil in

9. Slide the top and bottom arrow piece onto your pencil and start on your next one!
