Finding Your Passion?

Do you like Change? 

For the most part, I don’t prefer change at all. I tend to be a creature of habit, I suppose that comes from having a father in the military, a grandmother that was a bit controlling and my drive to be perfect! Of course, I am not perfect, just ask my editor {hint hint}. My constant drive to fulfill being the best I can be reflects greatly on the decisions I make daily.

For the past 3 years, I’ve been blessed to develop a great site, interact with wonderful fans and I’ve become a bit obsessed with social media. When I started Mycouportiera I wanted to create a platform where people could find great deals and enjoy interactive events. However, after having my daughter our family dynamics changed and instead of getting ready to be an empty nester. I’ve started over as a new mommy; which caused me to re-evaluate my business, career goals and expectations.

 Although, I’ve enjoyed helping people find incredible bargains, I have felt like some thing was missing and I could be doing more in order to create a wonderful experience for my fans each time they visit me on social media or my page. I have two passions, well three actually.

  • I enjoy discovering new things with my family and sharing my findings with friends.
  • I love entertaining and making people smile.
  • I am passionate about helping business get the word out about their services.

I am thankful for every fan that has visited and interacted with Mycouportiera since my very  first post in 2011. However, the name Mycouportiera no longer represents the direction the site is going. Therefore I am excited to let you know we have changed our name to On the Scene with Mrs. Kathy King.  Remember to keep a look out for consistent posts on my page, I’m sure you’ll enjoy them.
